| Bio: | NOTE: I am NOT UW professor John F. Stanton. My middle name is Malachi. I'm a Seattle native and I was a sophomore at UW the day the world changed. I recently ran across my old computer journal from back then while I was clearing out some old homework files from that era. I thought it might be useful for the historical record and I've re-entered the information (and backdated it appropriately). It took me about a month to get everything in -- I don't have much time these days in between the job and my volunteer work. In hindsight, perhaps I made a mistake in focusing too narrowly on my own life; it's really nothing more than a footnote to the days of the First Sighting, the Meeting, and a world on the brink. But it's also perhaps useful in showing how real people were really reacting back then. It's really amazing remembering just how high emotions were running. Everything I wrote is already here, so don't worry about friending me -- nothing will ever show up on your friends list page. However, please leave a comment and say hi if my writing moved you.
